As the DNA results of the bodies the Dana Air crash was released today, all hell was let lose at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) as Officials and relatives of the Dana plane crash victims this morning attacked journalists who had gone to cover the release of the bodies of the victims. In the process a senior photojournalist Mr Benedict Walaka of the Leadership Newspapers was attacked and seriously wounded as he tried to take photos of the handing over.

As he was been rushed to the hospital a senior Journalist said "He could bleed to death" It was learnt that a staff of the hospital hit him with a bottle on the head leaving the pieces all over his hair.
The officials who had invited journalist to cover the event at a joint press conference yesterday accused the journalist of taking pictures of the morgue, including relatives who came to claim their loved ones. One of the officials went as far as saying "You think we are joking here? We don't want journalists here."
About 132 bodies had undergone DNA tests and identified remaining 16 bodies, Only 25 will be released today. Among the bodies to be released today are that of former NNPC spokesperson Levi Ajuonuma and Ehime Aikhomo son of late former Naval chief Augustus Aikhomo. Others includes
