Last Saturday was a day staffs of Globacom will never forget in a hurry, according to reports Mike Adenuga Mike Adenuga walked out on his staff.
The Globacom boss turned 60 on Monday April 29th, and hundreds of his staff dicided to organize a surprise party celebrate with their chairman they gathered at the lounge situated on the ground floor of the office building waiting to scream surprise at their boss but this however wasn’t the case and this is the reason it all went horrible wrong.
Earlier on Thursday, a text message was passed round the office inviting the members of staff to a surprise birthday bash with their boss that evening...
So, everyone gathered that evening for the party, Okey Bakassi was the MC, and everything was falling in place until Mike arrived - he arrived around 8pm.
Mike Adenuga showed up in his Range Rover bullet proof SUV around 8pm, greeted people at the entrance of the lounge but was taken aback when people started cheering loudly as he entered the lounge. But the businessman didn’t find it funny because he was not informed of the party he thought he was attending a very important meeting, he immediately turned around and left the lounge
He got into his car and left...after the members of staff waited for more than an hour, it dawned on them that their boss was not going to come back so they had to leave.
