David and Tre'Darrius took flight to Washington, D.C. on December 7, 2012 and applied for their marriage license. On January 17, 2013, David and Tre'Darrius flew back to Washington, D.C. While in Washington, D.C, they got legally married in front of the Lincoln Memorial. They flew back to Memphis and had their commitment ceremony, January 19, 2013
