PRIMMY'S CORNER - DID HE ACTUALLY RAPE HER?

I have been away from blogging for a couple of days now due to one event/meeting or the other and I really missed out on a lot of happenings around naija and other countries so bear with me if I do blog some old STORIES, like I said, a lot did happen in my absence but the one that really upset me was the one of a 30yrs old man raping a girl of 3yrs I heard and read the story it was as if somebody poured acid on my face.  I read the story with so much disgust and tears in my eyes and as a Nigerian and a mother I judged him and sentenced him to death in my head instantly, until I read the story in Vangaurd  where it was said that the guy still maintained his innocence that he did not rape the little girl when he was taken to the police station, I also read that the little girl was taken to then hospital and it was confirmed that there was no penetration and her hymen is still intact thank God for that, but there was semen on the girl's thighs so my understanding is that he used the little girl to step down (you know what I mean) which to me is the same thing as penetrating her so he should probably get 100yrs  imprisonment for all I can because I don't see why a full grown man will molest a minor sexually when there are women everywhere.  
My question is are we not taken this jungle justice too far, from what I read the young man was almost lynched to death, what if he had died before they discovered her virginity is still intact? and please don't you dear say what the hell is primmy all about? in as much as I don't condole such hideous crime against a woman/girl/boy/child I do not support Jungle Justice and killing of anybody not matter the crime he or she has commited.  For those of us who did not read or know about the sad incident or read about it here is the gist, this is how vanguard reports it



PLEASE do not kill me. I swear to God, I did not have carnal knowledge of her". This was the passionate plea from a 30-year-old man last Thursday, at Dolphin Estate phase 2, in Adeniji Adele area of Lagos, as an angry mob descended on him, for allegedly defiling a three-year-old girl.
The suspect identified as Lukman Salami, reportedly cajoled a littler girl (name withheld) into a school compound in the area, where he allegedly had carnal knowledge of her.
After the alleged sacrilegious act, the 30-year-old man reportedly led the innocent child out, an act that turned out to be his greatest undoing as the girl's father who sighted them together, suspected the unspeakable.
Suspicion of the unspeakable
Another version, however, had it that immediately Lukman came out with the little child, she ran into a shop crying, from where her father who apparently had been looking for her sighted her. But the child could not explain what transpired back in the school, even when she was asked what the problem was.
At that point, eye witnesses said Lukman whose antecedents in the area have nothing good to write home about, was asked where and how he met the girl but he reportedly could not give a satisfactory response.
At first, eye witnesses said he started ranting and even threatened to deal with anyone who dared to challenge him. But at a point, he started fidgeting and attempted to escape the scene but was unlucky as the girl's father raised an alarm which attracted passers-by who immediately descended on him.
One of the eye witnesses told Crime Alert: "We all thought he stole because of his antecedent. Out of curiosity, a woman lifted the girl's dress, only to discover that her pant was not properly fitted. The woman screamed, 'abomination! We saw stain on the little girl's thighs and when we asked her what happened, she only pointed at Lukeman who by then had been stripped naked.
Again, we asked how she got into the school with him but as you know, she could not properly explain. She only said she was given biscuit and innocently told us how she was laid on one of the chairs but could not explain further", narrated the eye witness who simply gave her name as Iya Lati.
Crime Alert gathered that Lukman would have been lynched by the mob but for the arrival of policemen from Adeniji Adele division, who immediately whisked him away.
At the station, Lukeman, told maintained that he never penetrated into the little girl. But he could barely talk as his condition was discovered to be unstable. Consequently, the Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Monday Agbonika as gathered, released him to one of his relatives in order for him to get medical treatment at the end of which he would come and answer for the offence.
Crime Alert also gathered that the little girl was taken to the hospital for medical check-up, where doctors informed to the relief of the child's parents that there was no penetration. Doctor's report further disclosed that the three-year-old girl's hymen was still intact.
By the way, the hymen is a piece of skin covering the vaginal opening in females. Had it been broken , the child would have been said to be dis-virgined by the 30 year-old man . However, stains of semen on the child's lap was confirmed.
