LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT TURNS FELA'S HOUSE INTO A MUSEUM

As part of the events to mark the annual FELABRATION week which kicks off yesterday 15th October 2012, the Lagos State Government has turned the house of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, into a museum to “promote cultural heritage and mark the 74th birthday” of the legendary musician. It is now to be known as Kalakuta Museum and will be managed by Total Consult

On display at the museum are Fela memorabilia like clothes, shoes and household materials. I am so visiting whenever I am in Nigeria I am a huge Fela fan. For more photos click on read more
