THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES COMMISSION SUSPENDS THE OPERATIONAL LICENSES OF SEVEN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES.



The National Universities Commission has on Wednesday suspended the licenses of seven private universities for allegedly not keeping to NUC's guideline's on school facilities and academic programmes.  

The Director of  Press and Public Relations of  NUC Mallam Ibrahim Yakassai while speaking to reporters in a telephone conversation on Wednesday night said that the suspension of the licenses of the universities was neseccary to improve the standard of Universities in Nigeria, and that the suspension will be lifted as soon as they meet the guidelines set by the Commission. 

Thank God one agency seems to be taking their duties seriously.

The suspended universities are:
Lead City University
Caritas University
Joseph Ayo Babalola University
Tansian University
Madonna University
Achievers University
Obong University
