MEET SEMA TECINO IRELAND FASTEST GROWING AFRICAN SINGER

Sema Tecino is one of the fastest growing singer in Ireland,SEMA TECINO wich was randomly created by combining the initials of gerald?s nicknames back in the university and while in a band has this italian spice which keeps people interested at the same time sounds very stylish, suave and funky.
Over the years the name has gone through several redefinitions as the name never existed before. Now sematecino simply means 'The King`. Semat, -for short, was born in Paris to Nigerian parents, grew up in Nigeria and went to Uni at the University of Lagos where he studied insurance. He was a member of a five man hip hop group called brotherhood back in the late 90s?. They were very popular on the campus as they rocked most of the school shows including the prestigious MISS UNILAG 2000, along side greater groups like trybsmen (eldee) and x-appeal (jazzman olofin).

The group also had numerous shows to their credit including DTD LEKKI SUMMER JAM, RAY POWER GRANDSLAM with the late Steve Kadiri and Dennis Ogi and also FANTA FUN HOUR on cool fm radio with Tosyn Bucknor just to mention a few and to give a background check on Semat?s show biz experience.
As members of the group started to leave school the group gradually drifted apart. Then Semat upon leavin school in 2004 relocated to Europe for greener pastures where he relaunched a solo career in music. His first project was his gospel debut single `PRAY` which did quite well sales wise judgin from the available market present in Dublin He also shot a low budget video for this single.
Semat then took a year break for personal reasons and returned to the scene with his new managemnet company, Xlusive Entertainment and a brand new style, with a brand new club banging single GBASIBE` which is an afro hip hop and pop hit produced and collaborated on by KAS, a big boy in his own right in the Nigerian and UK music scene. Kas recently appeared in Dbanj?s video for suddenly and is the crooner for the award winning hit track "FIMILE". Wit Semat?s different and unique sounds and flow from growing up in the Dublin Afro Music scene. Gbasibe was launched in a celebrity fashion like party tagged GBASIBE NITE in dublin where ruggedman from nigeria graced the occassion as a guest artiste alongside Miss K the face of MTN Nigeria 2009.

His newest single 'TRY MY LOVE' with a hot sizzling and saucy video which is gradually getting very popular. Also Semat has worked with the prestigious RTE RADIO in the past featuring in many notable big time shows like -the yahooze concert in Dublin, the Bold and Beautiful Awards 07, 08, 09, face of Africa Ireland Beauty pageant 09, Miss Nigeria Ireland 09, Miss Congo Ireland 09, Miss Southern Africa Ireland 09, The Nigerian Carnival in Dublin ?10 to mention a few. As well as several club, tv & party appearances.
To solidify his arrival and presence in the music scene both in Dublin and Nigeria. Semat in 2010 released the most anticipated Afro Video in Dublin - The Gbasibe Music Video ft KAS produced by a Cosmopilitan Irish Video Director, Chaste Craetive.
These days, artists promote their personality with their own slogans or cliches and Semat caught in on this too as he enters the industry with his own slogan YAGOLANA which is spreading like wild fire in Dublin and Nigeria. Sematecino has re-branded himself as Mr. YAGO and has dropped a new single with the word..YAGOLANA the new single is titled BAMISORO ft Tejay Tray.
