I always wonder why a man will automatically assume that when a woman says I am through with this marriage it means we are now enemies, I find this peculiar to Nigerian men, most times when a spouse says I am through with this marriage the next thing the spouse does is take the kids,becomes aggressive toward the woman, assumes she does not love him or hates him with a passion, when a woman says i am through, it doesn't mean she hates you, love doesn't die in one day, for crying out loud there is something called we are not compatibility and irreconcilable differences. Most men even go as far as thinking you are leaving them for another man Lol, I am not saying love doesn't go out of marriages, it does but most times some couples leave their spouses for so many reason.
A lot of married people live like strangers in their homes, they have nothing in common other than the beautiful children God almighty has given them, they pretend to be the happiest couple in front of family and friends I know most people will say but they dated for so so number of months or years before getting married so she knew what she was getting into, agreed but love they say is blind and time changes everything and believe me, people change with time for better or for worse.
Some couples are better of as friends, I feel it takes a strong woman to say babes can we talk? this is not working I think we should go our separate ways, like I always say if its not working its not working, there is no need pretending and living a life of unhappiness, if you are unhappy in you marriage take a bold step and call it a day
