Two teenage Nigerian girls, Rejoice Chioma Israel, 16, (centre) and Rosemary ‎Uchenna Emmanuel, 19 (right), who were trafficked to Burkina Faso to become sex workers in the country have been rescued, PM News reports.
The two girls left Nigeria on 11 July with a man who promised to take them to Malaysia via Burkina Faso for a better life. The trafficker explained to them that they will be given fresh passports and some vaccines in Burkina Faso before proceeding to Malaysia for well paid jobs.
But once in Ouagadugu, the capital of Burkina Faso, they were handed over to a Nigerian woman called Onome who introduced them to prostitution.
“The madam told us we will have to do ashawo (prostitution) or pay her N1.2 million each to take us back to Nigeria,” Rosemary said in an interview in Lagos on Tuesday.

THREE YOUNG SIBLINGS ESCAPE BEING LYNCHED BY NEIGHBOURS WHO ACCUSED THEM OF WITCHCRAFT

Three children from same parents narrowly escaped being lynched by some youths who accused them of witchcraft. The kids - Shedrack Esin, 14, Israel Esin, 10, and Miracle Esin, 7, were attacked after their father, Mr. Etim Esin, who was also accused of witchcraft, was killed by some unidentified persons on Monday morning in Unyenge, Mbo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.  According to Punch, neighbours say the kids father Etim wanted to use witchcraft to kill a resident of the area. Thankfully, the children were rescued by African Children Aid Education and Development Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, which contacted the police. And according to the project director of that NGO, Mr. David Emmanuel, the kids were about to be attacked because the villagers believed that their father had passed the witchcraft to them. 
He said, but for the swift response of the police which saved the children from being lynched, the angry neigbours would have killed them.

Uwa nmebi Two teenagers (names withheld), have been arrested by the police in Benin, Edo state, for allegedly obtaining money from several persons through threat messages.
One of the teenagers, a female who allegedly obtained the sum of N300,000 through such means, was said to have used part of the money to purchase a bicycle while her partner in crime was said to have been planning a birthday party with the proceed before they were arrested.

29YRS OLD BROOKLINE BASED NIGERIA MAN SAMUEL OKORIE ARRESTED FOR RAPE

Pittsburgh Police have arrested a 29yrs old  Brookline based Nigeria man Samuel Okorie, and are charging him with rape, kidnapping, robbery and assault after they say he abducted a 21-year-old woman from a West Liberty Avenue gas station.

According to police report, . A 21 year old woman identified Okorie as the man who sexually assaulted her. Police say the victim ran up the street, crying for help. Neighbours said she was screaming 'help me, help me'. When a neighbour approached her, she said "he raped me, he's coming to get me.".

He's such a good looking guy, why would he turn to rape? And then the story is somehow. 
Police report says Okorie grabbed the woman from behind near a gas station on Saturday night, grabbed her cellphone and pushed her into nearby bushes where he sexually assaulted her. Reports states that Okorie then dragged the girl to his home where another sexual assault took place.
