BEAUTY OF THE DAY




Our beauty of the day is Ifrah Ahmed S, she is origninally from somalia but now based in Dublin, she is a social and community worker, a strong force to be reckoned with when it comes to the fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Violence against women.
On the 28 of March Ifrah and her group United Youth Ireland (UYI) had a law passed under the Criminal Justice (Female Genital Mutilation) Act 2012 by the Seanad (Irish Senate).  She is a role model to African youths in Ireland
