A 34-year-old driver, Oyewale Ojo, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for having carnal knowledge of a two-year-old daughter of his colleague and neighbour.
The man, who lives at Ojoo area of Ibadan, was caught hiding behind the door in the room of Mr and Mrs Toki, parents of the girl, with the baby (name withheld) spread on the bed and her private part smeared with semen.
The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation at that State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku, Ibadan, where he was transferred to from Ojoo police station in which the case was initially reported.
According to the mother of the baby, Madam Ajarat Toki, a herbal concoction seller at Iwo Road motor park at Ojoo, the little girl was with her father at home on Monday, October 21, while she was doing her business within the park. “I had to take her home that day because of an impending rain. My husband later came back to say the girl was asleep at home, and that he had asked a neighbour to keep an eye on her while he went to buy the girl something to eat.

The wife of the embattled former chairman of the Presidential Task Team on Pension Reforms, Abdulrashid Maina, on Wednesday stormed her husband’s office in Abuja, in the company of a female accomplice, to beat Mr. Maina’s female secretary unconscious. Those who witnessed the incident told PREMIUM TIMES Mrs Maina furiously dashed into the office and accused Ndi Bala of dating her husband. Mr. Maina was not in the office when the incident happened. It could not be ascertained Wednesday whether Ms Bala dated Mr. Maina as alleged by his wife. “The woman did not even give the lady the chance to explain the accusation before they pounced on her and beat her seriously, they did not stop until the lady became unconscious,” a witness, who declined to be named for fear of victimization, said.
A woman claimed she was plagued with blinding headaches after she was fitted with a human hair weave reportedly filled with flesh-eating maggots that burrowed into her head.
Irene Myangoh, a personal assistant at a law firm in Nairobi, Kenya, paid a salon for the hair piece which doctors believe may have come from a corpse.
After two weeks, she started suffering from severe headaches which painkillers did little to ease
When blood tests and a brain scan also came back negative, she went back to her doctor who examined her scalp and reportedly found maggots eating into her skull.
The doctor said the maggots had likely hatched from eggs contained in the hair which she believed came from a dead body, it was reported by iReportersTV.
No further details were given about the maggots and the doctor could not be reached for comment by the station.
