According to Eyewitnesses scores of people gathered to watch the world cup match between Brazil and Mexico when members of Boko Haram surrounded the place and hauled explosives at the viewing centre, injuring several people leaving seven people dead. The injured people have been taken to the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital in Damaturu.
