DEADLY MABURG VIRUS SIMILAR TO EBOLA FEVER ENTERS UGANDA.

God help us the Uganda Ministry of health announced on Sunday that Marburg virus a haemorrhagic viral disease a quite similar to Ebola virus has entered the country after a man died and 99 people quarantined for observations. The World Health Organisation had noted that Marburg is a severe and highly fatal disease caused by a virus from the same family as the one that causes Ebola hemorrhagic fever. The illness caused by Marburg virus begins abruptly with severe headaches and severe malaise. 


The Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni while attending the annual National Prayer Breakfast said during the current outbreak the cultural norm which involved among others shaking hands and hugging must be suspended. He also also advised populations staying near forests to avoid eating monkeys, saying they were the known hosts of the deadly zoonotic diseases stressing that, such cultural practices were partly responsible for rapid spread of Ebola in West Africa where the disease has killed over 3,000 people. He pleaded with citizens to avoid body contacts in order to curb the spread of the Marburg hemorrhagic fever.

Father Lord I am calling on you please do not allow this deadly disease enter my country Nigeria, everybody say amen honestly I think the era of shaking hands and embracing people is over in this generation
