DUBLIN GIST: DUBLIN SOCIALITE TAIWO JAMANI DIES FOLLOWING SWORDS BASEBALL BAT ATTACK IN CO DUBLIN ALSO SEE THE FACE OF HIS ALLEGED ATTACKER JOODA AKANBI

45-year-old Taiwo Jamani who was critically injured in an assault in Dublin last month has died in hospital.
Taiwo was beaten around the head with a baseball bat during the attack in Swords on 10 October.
Jooda Akanbi, 37, from Applewood in Swords has been charged in connection with the assault.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place at around 12.20pm, or anyone who may have recorded any images on mobile phones to contact them on 01-6664700.
