EXPLOSION AT JANKARA MARKET THIS MORNING

The popular Jankara market in Lagos exploded this morning around 9am, as fireworks storage facility located at Oko Awo caught fire; injuring several people and destroying several cars including buildings were affected by the fire.
According to eye witness the fire broke out after someone mistakenly threw firecracker into the building which hit some unsold fireworks kept there. 
Fire fighters and other rescue agencies managed to calm the situation.
