In the show, due to be aired in America tomorrow, Jael struggles to take advice from the programme's host.

 She is living on the streets, and so Dr Phil, Jael's brother Brandon, and mother Debbie seek her out in her hometown.

Her family say Jael spiralled out of control after a close friend overdosed in 2007, when she was taking part in America's Next Top Model.
She decided to remain in the show, and said at the time: "There was never, never a question in my mind to leave the competition. My friend is gone and I am still here living life to the fullest."
